Posted by admin | Posted in Marketing, Relationships | Posted on 07-06-2009

About Internal Branding

Most companies focus entirely on promoting their brand to create a positive perception on

the consumer’s brand that internal branding loses its share of the formula. An important

share, at that. Marketing efforts are executed to establish a high-quality brand that

delivers to the needs and demands of the consumers. But how do you ensure that you are

delivering up to the standards of your company? This is where internal branding comes into

play.

To attain good quality products and services for your brand, you need to take care of your

business’ internal processes first. Internal branding is about the focus you give on

ensuring that practices and methods utilized in the creation of products or services meet

your company’s set of values. Branding must be done inside and out. You need to be able to

reproduce these values in the mind of everyone who is a part of the organization so you

can naturally promote your brand.

How Do You Achieve It?

You cannot produce a good marketing message to the public unless you start from within.

That is something every business owner need to realize. Therefore, you need to learn

strategies as to how you can effectively execute a sound internal branding system to

ensure a cohesive take on developing a brand that will satisfy your potential customers.
Here’s how you can do it:

• Gather together all of your development team work together in the development and

creation of the brand to ensure that all methods are synchronized with your values and set

of objectives laid out by the company.

• When hiring employees to work with you, choose those that are aligned with the corporate

values of your company. Having the right set of skills will enable you to achieve the most

effective brand representation you desire.

• Keep internal communication lines open at all times. This will enable you to reinforce

and enhance whatever existing values that are being executed to meet the promise of your

brand. If you keep nurturing this in the mind of the employees, then they will be able to

develop that soon enough.
Benefits of Internal Branding

Aside from unity in your company’s vision towards what you want to achieve with your

brand, internal branding offers more benefits. If you are not aware of the potential

benefits that internal branding offers, these are just a few ways that it can help boost

your brand’s campaign:

• Internal branding produces a healthy working environment and cohesive working culture.

Once all employees understand the vision behind the brand, all components of the company

are now geared towards the same goals.

• Internal branding produces a more consistent branding message. Once your brand have

established a given brand reputation, your employees will be proud to represent your

company while at the same time be challenged to meet its set of standards.

• Internal branding serves as an avenue to push for change.

• Internal branding develops your brand identity.
Basic Priciples

If you want to create an effective internal branding system, every company must give

attention to the following set of principles:

1.) Give freedom not control. An effective internal branding management is one that

emphasizes a set of rules that are agreed on by the employees, so they could genuinely

contribute to the advancement of your brand.

2.) Decentralize. Learn how to trust your employees to deliver the quality your brand

deserves.

3.) Communicate your company’s message to the personnel first before the customers. How do

you expect your employees to deliver the type of standard you want to achieve if they do

not have proper understanding of the company’s objectives?

4.) Synchronized operation. You need to be able to pull together different departments of

the company so that everyone works at the same pace and perspective.

5.) Think long-term goals. No brand is created overnight. Therefore, you need to create

that mindset in your personnel that enables them to think of the long-term impacts and

effects of an effective internal branding system

How to Get Your Self-Esteem Back

Posted by admin | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 05-06-2009

Self esteem is something innate. It is something that our parents and friends helped us develop when we were

young and as we grow older, this is still being developed. This means that it can change and if have somehow

lost your way, here are a few things that can help.

First, you have to find out what is causing your self-esteem to go down. There are no gauges or tests for this

but it is pretty obvious when people look at you or when you find the time to look in the mirror.

You simply have to snap out of it because you are only human. We have to accept the fact that we are good in

certain things and poor in others. If you are able to figure that out, you can focus your energy on things you

know you excel in rather than wasting time on trivial matters.

Now there are people who may make fun of your limitations. They may even try to destroy you or take

advantage of this weakness to hurt you so be strong and don’t let these bother you at all. It will even be better

to hang out only with people that accept you for who you are in the same manner that you will accept them

for their limitations.

This leads us to the next phase to get our self esteem back and that is to surround yourself with people you

are comfortable with. You can even take it to the next level by telling them to recognize you for your qualities

because hearing it from other people makes us feel better about ourselves.

You can do this by striking a conversation casually or by requesting for one formally. At work, employees are

appraised every year and this could mean an increase in your salary or even a promotion. If you are vain,

have someone conduct a survey about you and then read the results.

But do you really need someone to tell you your good qualities. Not necessarily because you already know

what they are. Look at your past awards in school and in extra curricular activities. Review what you have

done for the company and just think what would happen if you did not execute your plan or offer your

suggestion.

Will things be different? There is always that possibility so don’t sell yourself short. If ever someone praises

you for doing a good job, accept it and thank them for acknowledging your efforts.

Believe it or not, you could lose your self-esteem if someone made you feel bad and you were drawn to it. This

means that it could have been avoided and the only way that can happen is if you have high self-esteem.

You should probably not have been too affected by what that person said. We all have bad days and that

person probably got it but that must not get into your system. If it does, it is like getting a cold and this will

spread which could also lower morale.

The truth is, you never lost your self-esteem. It was always there. This can even happen to the best of us but if

we are able to overcome it, you will surely be back to your old self.

How to Build Self Esteem

Posted by admin | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 02-06-2009

Self esteem is something we all have. It can be developed and improved even further as we grow older so there

is the chance that we can become better people. But how do we do that? Well by following some simple steps.

The first step is to accept yourself for who you are. We are only human and there are limitations to what we

can do. While there are some limitations that can be changed, there are some that can’t. For instance, if you

don’t do well in math, you can get help so you can have a better grade in the future. On the other hand, if

you want to buy a car and you don’t have the funds right now, well you just have to accept the fact that at

this moment, this is not possible.

Aside from knowing your limitations, you have to understand that people have their own limitations as well

and you have to accept them for who they are.

The second step is to understand that you have self worth. You are important to your family, to your friends

and to society. You may not be running a country or a business but your contribution as an employee, as a

breadwinner to the family and a listener when your friends need someone to talk to has value.

If you know your limits and you have a certain purpose in life, it is time to set realistic goals. When you plan

what you want to do, make sure that this can be done over a period of time and not overnight. For instance, if

you want to lose weight, you have to do this gradually and once you achieve it after several months, you will

be happy with what you have achieved.

Each one of us has experienced something different in our lives. This depends on the people we meet and the

challenges that we have encountered. With that, you can take mistakes made as lessons for the future and

achievements as things that could push you further. Since you don’t want to sit on your laurels, set your own

standards and live by them.

The last thing you have to do to build up your self-esteem is simply to learn to love yourself. If you want to do

something, go ahead and try it even if there are some people who may discourage you from doing it.

If you did a great job, give yourself a pat on the back and reward yourself because how you see yourself will

be seen by other people so if you learn to value who you are, it will be easier for you to be appreciative of

others.

We all have self-esteem and we just have to maintain it or try to make it even better. If you need help in

building it, try seeing a specialist or buying a recording and then play it at home. Remember that these

things are just tools and in the end, what is important is how you see yourself. It is also your life and you are

the one who sets the direction.

Not your friends, family or loved ones but it wouldn’t hurt to consult them from time to time because these

people also care about you.

Is Your Spouse Cheating? Five Warning Signs

Posted by Marc Sandford | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 25-05-2009

by Marc Sandford

Do you suspect that your partner has been cheating? You may be experiencing a troubling intuition that things aren’t right with your relationship. Our intuitive feelings about relationships are surprisingly accurate.

In fact, studies have shown that our suspicions about a cheating spouse tend to be correct. It always helps to have some objective things or signs to look out for that give support to our suspicions. After all, a false accusation can be very damaging to a relationship.

Here are 5 signs that your partner is cheating.

1.) Unusual cell phone calls.

Check for odd phone numbers on your spouses cell phone. Cheating is not possible without a lot of communication and cell phone technology is perfect for this. Look for phone numbers with a lot of calls occurring at unusual hours.

2.) More time not spent with you.

Has you partner been spending lots of time elsewhere? How about a sharp increase in work hours?

Have there been “business trips” lasting several days? What matters is that the time spent away from you has increased dramatically, showing no sign of letting up.

3.) Greater money expenditure.

Is there a greater expenditure on items that you never see around or at restaurants you’ve never eaten at? If there are dated receipts, do you know where the two of you were at the time? Were both of you apart or together?

If you were apart, do the receipts concur with where or what your partner said they were doing? Have you noticed any increases in cash withdrawals?

4.) Improvement in attire.

Has your partner’s wardrobe grown in size? Is she or he buying clothing that’s appropriate for social outings? Outings that you don’t get to participate in?

Is your spouse too well dressed when seeing a “buddy”? Maybe your spouse is overdressed when going out to the “usual places”.

5.) Contradictions and inconsistencies.

Do your spouses words and actions add up? Does your spouse change the details of his or her activities?

Lies are hard to keep up with. The liar will eventually slip up with their excuses and explanations. When you’re alone, record specifics and details for your own reference.

When your spouse cheats on you, the experience is wounding and painful. Always take extra care in getting the facts straight before speaking to your partner about it.

Discover the Best Break Up Advice

Posted by Katie Wang | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 18-05-2009

by Melissa Haworth

A good break up advice will clearly help you get over the pain of breaking up with your love. Right after the break up is the most painful part of the whole thing. Though dealing with a break up is relatively easy, some people move on faster than others. It doesn’t matter if you are quick to move on or not. You can always find ways to help you get over the pain.

You will feel bad about wallowing in misery over your break up once you hear about the break up advice I have for you.

1. Make a list. Often, we’re inclined to focus only on the positive things of our former relationships after a breakup. This way of thinking will only make you pine for your lost love even more, and may make you think that the relationship was better than it was. Get out a sheet of paper as soon after the breakup as possible, and draw a line down the middle. On one side, write down all the good points you can think of about your relationship, and write down the bad points on the other side. If the bad points outweigh the good points, then you can be reassured that breaking up was probably a good idea.

2. Pamper yourself. What are the things you missed out on when you were still with your ex? As soon as you’ve broken up, go out and do those things. Indulge yourself. Pretty soon, you’ll be having such a great time re-connecting with the things you enjoy that you’ll wonder why you spent so long dating your ex in the first place.

3. Spend some time with your friends. Too often, people are inclined to sit at home alone after a breakup and avoid the world. This will always lead to moping and depression, and may even cause you to become obsessed with your ex (NEVER a good thing!). Go out with your friends as often as you can, even if you don’t feel like it. This will distract you from your feelings of despair and you’ll eventually start to have fun whether you intend to or not.

4. Don’t contact your ex. This is probably the most important piece of breakup advice you can get. You run the risk of thinking more about your ex when you constantly contact them. And most of the time, the ex will feel annoyed and even mad with these kind of things. When a relationship is done, it’s done for good, and it’s best to forget about it.

However, if your relationship ended due to a misunderstanding and deserves a second chance (and be honest with yourself here), then I want to share with you a powerful system that could win back the heart of your ex ” even if your situation seems hopeless.
