How To Get Your Ex Back In One Day

by Johnnie S Laney

A lot of courses on how to get your ex back will tell you about the 30 day method. Wait 30 days so their anger and hurt has died down, then begin to try to woo them back. Sometimes this is a good strategy, but oftentimes it doesn’t work, because in a month your ex may have moved on.

Is there really a way to get your ex back in one day? 24 hours from now? Can it be done? In many cases it can.

What, then, should you do to get your ex back in one day? The answer to this varies based on the reasons you broke up. There are three general triggers that cause a break up. First, your mate wronged you, maybe they cheated on you. Second, you wronged your mate, you were too controlling or too jealous or you cheated on them. The final reason is that your ex lost their interest and passion in you. Nonetheless, for each of these reasons, you can often begin to get your ex back in one day when you go about it using the correct relationship intelligence.

Let’s use as an example a situation where you got caught cheating on your ex. They kicked you out, swearing they could not ever trust you again after such a huge betrayal. Can this type of damage possibly be repaired in just hours?

Most of the time, yes, the damage can be repaired, and you don’t have to wait months for them to calm down. What you must do is have a particular type of conversation with them that will take less than 15 minutes, usually. And the amazing part about this is that you don’t apologize until near the very end of the conversation.

What you need to do is follow three specific steps before you apologize. These steps can be characterized as owning up to what you did, acknowledging the hurt you caused, and then listening to how they feel about it.

The main technique to getting your ex back in one day rather than waiting weeks or months involves you becoming a good listener. The emotional logic is that your ex has a heart filled with hurt and betrayal. You have to help them to release those hurt and negative feelings. Using some basic emotional intelligence you can actually help your ex release the bad feelings so they can move towards forgiveness and loving you once more.

Listening in the right way using some basic emotional skills takes only a few minutes, but in those few minutes you can help them have a healing in their heart. You can actually help them to release their hate and move back towards love in a short conversation. And that is the key to starting a process that can begin to repair even major love damage in hours rather than months. There is much more detail to this, but using some easily learned emotional intelligence you can help your mate to heal the damage and move back towards loving you in a remarkably short period of time.

Break up Pain - How To Recover From A Painful Breakup

Posted by Marc Sandford | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 03-03-2009

by Marc Sandford

Breaking up can inflict a very deep type of pain that is close in nature to the process of grieving. Your partner has left you, and has left a feeling of emptiness that seems impossible to shake. The relationship that defined your life has vanished or “passed on” for good.

As with all of the traumatic events that people go through in their lives, life must go on. It is vital to your own well being to find a way to look past the pain. Getting on with your life should be more than surviving, you want to be thriving again. Below are some suggestions for getting past the pain and moving on.

1.) Surround yourself with people and friends. Even though you may have lost your partner, you still have others in your life who care: be with them. Now is not the time to be the rugged individualist.

Doing it all by yourself will just make the effort at moving beyond the pain that much harder. So get in touch with your friends and allow them to help out.

2.) Try not to fixate on the break up or on the relationship itself. It’s a natural tendency to over analyze a breakup, but there’s a danger that this will completely consume you.

As was mentioned before, it’s important to be with other people. However, some discussion about your breakup is healthy but don’t over do it. The main reason for being with others is to get involved again with life and to enjoy it.

3.) Be careful with the type of music you play. Avoid any music that may resurrect old emotions associated with your break up. Music can have a strong effect when it comes to pulling on your emotional strings. So play something more happy.

4.) Don’t get snagged by the self pity, sadness trap, because you could get drawn into the living death called depression. Believe me when I tell you that you do not want to end up there. Depression is a type of mental illness which disrupts and harms the lives of those afflicted with it.

Often, music or cinema portrays sadness as a kind of sweet melancholy that can be very moving and may feel “good”. But this sadness is a kind of temporary empathy reaction that ends with the song or movie. But there is nothing sweet or romantic about personal sadness which is a trap that can destroy the quality of our lives.

5.) Most important of all, you must be optimistic about where you’re going in life. This optimism should also be applied to your future prospects of finding love. Everyone that has a life will have been through a break up and have successfully moved on.

There may be a good chance that you can get back together with your ex. If not, there will be other lovers in your future. You only have to make the effort and just do it.

Relationship Tips & Ideas That Can Help

Posted by Steve Carter | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 25-02-2009

by Steve Carter

All relationships start off with a real positive buzz and excitement, but over time that can get lsot somewhere. Are you missing the original ’spark’ that was once in your relationship? Do you not feel the same connection with your partner as you once did? Has that ’special something’ you once had in your relationship abandoned you? Confused by how and when it seemed to go wrong?

If any of this sounds familiar, realise you are not alone and you may be, like many, in need of acquiring some relationship tips to make your partnership stronger. The following five relationship tips and ideas are some suggestions for those who want to strengthen the bond with the person with whom they are dating or married:

Idea 1: Set aside time a little time each day for the two of you.

It’s important to recognise that every relationship needs time when a couple is alone together giving them time to just focus on each other. It could be a chat over a coffee in the morning before work, or it could be just meeting up for an informal lunch - perhaps use your lunchtime to meet up for a walk and a hotdog, and make it an opportunity to catch up with each other. Regardless of how you do it, make sure the focus of time is on the two of you, and you make time to talk and listen properly to each other.

Idea 2: Show a genuine interest in your partner’s interests.

As an example, if your partner really likes watching a certain sport, ask them about the sport and show a genuine interest in that sport - ask about it, and listen to the answers. Even if you don’t know about that specific sport, look it as an opportunity to find out something new. Perhaps your lady likes to go shopping. Take the initiative by suggesting shopping and then devote a few hours, once a month, to go shopping with her. Take an interest in what she looks at, and give sincere comments and feedback that clearly shows you are taking an interest.

Idea 3: Show affection on a daily basis.

One of the most important relationship tips is to maintain a level of affection in your relationship with your partner. Yes, you may have been affectionate in the early days, but the key is to maintain that affection and attention. Hugs and kisses, combined with a spontaneous “I love you” are priceless to the person who is receiving them. It helps both of you make an emotional connection in addition to the physical one.

Idea 4: Organise a special few days away.

Plan a weekend away to somewhere you both haven’t been before - a quaint little town, a lake-side cabin, an old fishing port. Choose a romantic place to stay and dine out in a pretty restaurant in the evening. Check out some live entertainment or perhaps an art gallery or place of local interest …and use all the time to talk to each other. Enjoy each other’s company, spending quality time together, a couple of times a year.

Idea 5: Plan and discuss some joint goals you both have for the future together.

Dreams and goals are what tie partnerships of people together. Perhaps you want to move house, or town; or take a holiday in a far-off destination; perhaps you have the idea of starting a business together - whatever, set some goals together, and focus on making them happen together.

We respect that you have heard some of these ideas and relationship tips before, but consider them again - really take them onboard because often ideas need to be repeated several times to really be absorbed. All these tips can very helpful in creating a stronger, healthier relationship between two people.

How Do I Improve My Dating? - 5 Relationships Tips

Posted by Steve Carter | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 24-02-2009

by Steve Carter

Is your dating not going the way you might like? Experiencing some dating challenges? Not achieving the results you’d hoped for? Perhaps you need some motivation to get you back in the market?

Here are 5 quick and easy relationship tips to follow that will get you results and finding the right relationship in no time.

1. First tip is if you don’t immdediate success with your dates, don’t get frustrated. Keep in mind there are millions of girls but only a few that are compatible with you. Dating is like screening. Understand that you will probably be dating a number of different women until you find one that’s truly right for you.

2. Focus on keeping the conversation upbeat and alive, and don’t be tempted to talk about yourself the entire time, even though you (like many people) may feel comfortable doing this. A serious survey was done whose results showed that people are most interested in those that ask about them, so learn from this - ask questions! Not prying questions; sincere ones that show you are interested in them. Be engaged in what the topic is. Control the conversation by keeping it fun, light and interesting. If you’re really interested in your date, try to avoid divulging how much you want a relationship. Just make it clear that they are “great company” and let them know you are eager to see them more.

3. One of the key relationship tips is not to lie, exaggerate or say things to simply try to impress your date. This will come back to bite you in the future. If a girl is not impressed with who you are and what you have to offer, your best bet is to simply cut your losses and avoid a second date. It doesn’t matter how pretty she is or how badly you want to be with her, you cannot have a successful relationship with someone who doesn’t mutually feel the same.

4. Think about this - what do you want from a date if you really like that person? Probably you want it to be unique and unforgettable right? Then think what you can do to help achieve that in the mind of your date. Yes, dinner and a movie are great but lets face it, that’s been done to death - focus on being more unique and original than that. One of the best relationship tips is this - aim to set yourself apart from all the others. Consider some different options like making your first date a boat ride, a sporting event, a trip to the zoo, a historic building, art gallery or museum, anything that’s a little different and can be entertaining and offers the opportunity for good and easy conversation, and you’ll find this will capture their attention, and possibly her heart. If you want to take her for food, try something new and interesting - what about a picnic? - it doesn’t have to be a fancy restaurant.

5. This one is crucial - don’t talk about your past relationships. OK this may be an one of the more obvious relationship tips, but it’s amazing how many people still get the conversation pulled into talking about the ‘ex’. No one intends to talk about their ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend but it still happens. On future dates you will have the chance to pour out your heart once the relationship is clearly stronger to take hearing all past stuff, but don’t do it on the first few dates. Leave that information at home.

Finally just remember that most women have seen the same dating scenarios and are looking for ’something different’ in their life. That’s what you need to bring to your dating. So take on board these 5 relationship tips and you’re sure to raise your dating game and improve your success on future dates.

Saving Your Marriage - 3 Ideas

Posted by Steve Carter | Posted in Relationships | Posted on 23-02-2009

by Steve Carter

When a marriage experiences challenges, there are many things that can cause the difficulties. Some of these things are lack of communication; lack of interest in what the other person’s involved with; low self-esteem; infidelity, and so it goes on - the list can be extensive. Yet positively, there are many things that can be done to get a marriage back on the right path.

Many couples experience relationship difficulties - recognise from the outset, you’re not alone. If you are experiencing a marriage with problems, recognise straight away that your marriage CAN be saved. It is vital that you both buy into the idea that you both really want to save it.

If you both want it you can find ways to work through the issues and end up with good, healthy balanced relationships, often stronger than before the issues occurred because of their new ability to learn how to see things from each other’s perspective. You may be at a place now that you’re eager to learn how to save a marriage.

When a marriage is in trouble there are several things you should immediately focus upon that may help things begin to turn around for you and your partner.

Here’s some ideas for you to think about if you’re finding yourself in a marriage with some issues…

A) Emotional Support - When people are trying to discover how to save a marriage, many times they may not realise that the core to the problems are down to the lack of emotional support from one or both of the partners. Try to start supporting your partner emotionally, in order to make him or her know that you care about whatever it is he or she may happen to be going through.

B) Patience - It’s really key to adopt patience with your partner. Even if your partner is pushhing you to the edge of your own patience, possibly not demonstrating much patience with you, it’s still important to stay calm. Getting upset, angry or irrational will only cause the issues to get stronger and really won’t help matters.

2) Communication - Communication is not only important in marriage, it’s important in any relationship if it’s to work over the long-term. Both partners need to communicate their needs, wants, likes, dislikes and anything else they feel needs to be talked about. Without ongoing consistent communication, things can go badly wrong very fast in a relationship.

Emotional support, patience and communication are all important in their own way and, when not present, will all contribute to the breakdown in a marriage. Yet when these attributes are present and worked at, can all each help to revive a flagging relationship.

Do not expect immediate results from implementing any of the above. Once your marriage is in a bit of a ‘grey patch’, it’s going to take some time and effort from both partners to get it back on the right path. The above tips will prove helpful in rebuilding a marriage but only for those couples who are committed to their marriage. However, if there seem to be issues that cannot be resolved on your own, then it may be time to seek out the services of a professional marriage counsellor. Time is a great asset in rebuilding problems in a relationship - remember that it takes time to get back to the joy you once experienced, so give it time.
