Are the traits of creativity, flexibility and communication important in a good psychologist?

I have a uni assignment for my academic literacies class, asking me to write about whether or not the attributes of creativity, flexiblity and communication are important in my chosen field - psychology. Just looking for an outside opinion, and new thoughts on the question.

Those traits are good to have no matter what they do for a living. Psychologists need good communication skills but I can't think of a reason that creativity and flexibility would be absolutely necessary. He/she just wouldn't be very good at their job.Creativity and flexibility equal critical thinking skills,

  2. I would agree all three are helpful!! If you cannot communicate properly you will most likely never be able to navigate your way to the heart of a patients problem, and the other two are extremely useful in helping you come up with innovative and new ways of treating patients that may not respond to traditional/conventional treatments!!! everyone is different, and although they may have the same problem there is nothing to stop patients from having variation of the same problem. As there are several different ways to teach children, so to is there several ways to treat patients.
