I totally respect her and think what she says comes off as intelligent, coherent and very witty. But here’s the kicker… the so called ‘arabs’ that she is talking about would stone her to death in Saudi Arabia if she was dressed like that on the streets. Did I miss something here???? The majority of the arab world (unfortunately that makes them right) would agree to throw her in a hijab and make her a baby making machine… despite arguments to the contrary on the comments and you know its true

arab women didn’t use to wear the hijab in the 60’s the 70’s the 80’s the majority of woman at that time didn’t wear the hijab, wearing the hijab is a new trend that started in the 90’s when people become more devot, this was the case in most of the arab world except for saudi arabia and yemen, until now 40% of women in jordan don’t wear the hijab, 25% if egyption , 90% in tunisia (because it is illeagel to wear it there.

  16. I don’t understand …
I don’t understand why people are so adamant that she should wear the hijab. it’s by choice to wear it and politics and religion shouldn’t mix. She is an inspiration to Arabs young and old… not even only Arabs, anyone. This is what we call a role model. And I am very happy to see such message being spoken regardless of their race or religion, i am happy.

Number 3: All the good mulim people (the ones that want peace between religions) like her, no doubt about that. Why wouldnt they?

  24. Yeah, go Rania! …
Yeah, go Rania! That was totally hilarious! Or at least, No. 9 and No. 3 were! And as for No. 1, well it’s about time we all tried to remember that’s exactly why wars and all the other that gets people killed tend to start!
